What does it mean to be an original thinker?
What is original thinking?
What is originality?
What is thinking?
Thinking for most people is information shuffling. When they say they are thinking they are in fact shuffling information. Thinking is not shuffling information. The Japanese word for “to think” is “kamgaeru,” which etymologically means “to return to the realm of God.” The English word “to think” etymologically means “to make something appear” or “to create.” To think thus etymologically means “to create by returning to the realm of God.” Therefore, to think means to create in accord with the kosmic. To create in accord with the kosmic means to bring forth new identities (concept and ideas) by discovering new causative patterns through the unfolding of the knowledge of kosmic law or pattern integrity.
Thinking is therefore kosmic thinking. Thinking is also original thinking, for to think kosmically means to be at the origin of creation. Thinking is thus kosmic and original. No thinking short of being kosmic or original is authentic thinking, but only information shuffling. Hence, to be an original thinker means to be at the origin of creation or to be a co-creator with God by returning to the realm of God. How to become an original thinker? You can become an original thinker only by assuming the responsibility of thinking, and by having a commitment to truth.
To assume the responsibility of thinking means never to presume that somebody somewhere has an answer. You may consider the Christ, the Buddha, Walter Russell, or other illumined souls and geniuses your teachers, but you should never presume that they had the final answer. They may, but it is you, and you alone, who can authentically find the answer for yourself. You must return to the source of your being–the inner realm of God and of kosmic law. Only then, can you think kosmically, for then it is God, the Intelligence of Being, that thinks through and as you. Thinking is original thinking. Original thinking is kosmic thinking. There is no other kind of thinking. And also:
It is unethical not to know.
It is unethical not to think.
It is unethical not to love.
It is unethical not to live an impassioned life.
It is unethical not to attain greatness.
It is unethical to succumb to the fear of envy and the conspiracy of mediocrity.
It is unethical not to self-bestow genius.
It is unethical not to be the first monkey.
